Wu Lyf

Rock

WU LYF (World Unite Lucifer Youth Foundation) is an indie rock band from Manchester. Formed in the summer of 2008, the band consists of lead singer Ellery Roberts, Tom McClung, Evans Kati and Joe Manning. WU LYF initially released a few singles and one album, Go Tell Fire To The Mountain. In the lyrics, although hard to understand, lead singer Ellery Roberts expressed his disgust of capitalist society and war, and his love for nature and freedom. Rather surprisingly, Roberts left the band in November 2012 with a short YouTube statement accompanying an unmixed version of a new track called 'Triumph', which meant the end of WU LYF at the time. Roberts went on working on some solo projects, including Lost Under Heaven (LUH). The band reformed in 2025 and announced their first album in fifteen years for release in April 2026.
