Kingfishr are an Irish indie folk trio from Limerick, formed in 2022 by Eddie Keogh, Eoghan "McGoo" McGrath, and Eoin "Fitz" Fitzgibbon after meeting while studying engineering. Blending contemporary indie folk with traditional Irish influences, the band quickly gained recognition for their emotive songwriting, rich harmonies, and atmospheric sound. Their breakthrough came with the chart-topping single "Killeagh", followed by the release of their debut album Halcyon in 2025.
